Why I Do What I Do:

I started Amplify Consulting & Communication Solutions in order to provide excellent, comprehensive customer-driven services in a nimble fashion. Amplify provides “right place, right time” service across the country and around the world.

I am driven to “walk the walk” of a values-driven organization.  I choose to work with organizations and individuals who want to make a significant positive impact on the world, and who want to engage in more productive, strategic, transparent, and empowering capacity-building and communication with their teams.  I believe that learning to communicate better at individual, team and organizational levels contributes to improved personal health and happiness, better customer service, increased social equity and access and a more civil society overall.

What I Do at Amplify:

Amplify is a multifunctional training and consulting firm (mostly it’s me, but I have a team of grant writers, analysts, expert facilitators, program managers, trainers and others available as needed). Services also available in Spanish.

Mediation, Leadership Coaching and Organizational Development

Erika is a trained and experienced mediator, leadership consultant and coach. She and her team bring powerful insights and proven strategies to help individuals and teams gain new focus and skills, especially during times of transition. In situations of conflict (interpersonal or organizational), Erika can facilitate a future-focused process grounded in transparency, objectivity and mutual respect.

Coaching is often a one-on-one engagement, or a series of small group workshops.  All engagements are customized to your specific needs.  Collecting internal and external data from staff and community partners is often part of our organizational development work, helping organizations focus their efforts on effectively addressing challenges that inhibit smooth function and maximal impact. We believe in the power of learning to talk honestly and respectfully about topics we often think of as “challenging,” including bias and accountability. Such topics present unique learning opportunities, and if you can talk about these issues in an authentic way, you can tackle any difficult issue. 

Project ECHO technical assistance, training and support

As the former Director of Global Replication for the ECHO Institute at UNM, Erika is uniquely positioned to provide comprehensive training and support services to help make your ECHO® project a huge success.  We provide existing ECHO partners (those already authorized and trained – at least partially – by an ECHO superhub) with technical assistance, supplementary training and support so you can launch confidently, secure funding, expand existing ECHO projects to additional topics or groups within your organization, and amplify your impact! 

Training/Training Design, Strategic Planning, Program Management, and Group Facilitation

Amplify can design or facilitate your next training initiative, large group meeting, retreat, team building endeavor, or community engagement. We can move your traditional training program to more engaging, effective and efficient Virtual Knowledge Networks and modalities. We can smoothly guide and support process changes, complex organizational conversations, or challenging transitions. We can design and lead a meaningful strategic planning process, engaging your internal teams and stakeholders as well as community partners and clients, as needed.  We can help you move from being reactive to being proactive, from thinking to doing, and achieve the results you need. We provide customized short or long-term opportunities to learn and implement best practices in these circumstances. We can also serve as an experienced, thoughtful and strategic third party to facilitate and mediate complex situations or conversations.

In addition, we provide end-to-end program support services, from planning and design through implementation, evaluation and reporting.  We are comfortable taking on projects large and small, anywhere around the world. We always bring a lens of equity, scaling social impact and capacity building to this work.
